게일이 워너 뮤직 코리아와의 인터뷰에서 이 곡에 대해 말하길, 부정적인 에너지가 Z세대를 감싸고 있는 것 같아 자신의 관점에서 이야기를 하고 싶었다고 한다. 덧붙여 자신은 굉장히 비꼬는 걸 좋아하는 사람인데, 밈 문화를 조롱하면서도 두 팔 벌려 받아들이는 점도 이 곡을 통해 보여주고 싶었다고 밝혔다. #
