작중에서
자주가
심바와 함께 있던
무파사의 앞에 나타나 아침 보고를 하고, 이를 들으며 지루해하는 심바가 무파사의 도움을 받아 자주를 몰래 덮쳐 깜짝 놀라게 만드는 곡이다. 뮤지컬에서는 무파사 역의 사무엘 E. 라이트, 어린 심바 역의 스콧 어비-라니어, 자주 역의 제프 호일이 노래를 불렀다.
1994년
라이온 킹 영화 작업 중에 작곡한 곡은 아니며, 뮤지컬 작업 시기인 1996년에 엘튼 존과 팀 라이스가 추가로 작곡한 3곡 중 하나이다. 나머지 2곡은
Chow Down,
The Madness of King Scar가 있다.

그러나 〈라이온 킹〉 뮤지컬이 초연되고 10년이 지났을 때 극에 수정이 가해지며 이 곡이 삭제되었다.
디즈니 시어트리컬 프로덕션의 사장 토마스 슈마허에 의하면, 전체 상연 시간이 너무 길었고 극의 몇몇 부분들이 초연 당시에 비해 신선하거나 강력하게 느껴지지 않았다고 한다. 이 때문에 "Chow Down", "The Madness of King Scar",
Can You Feel the Love Tonight에 부분적인 수정이 가해졌고 "The Morning Report"는 삭제되었다. 이를 통해 상연 시간을 12분가량 줄여 극을 좀 더 탄탄하게 느끼게 해주었고, 자신은 이러한 변화에 매우 만족하고 있다고 이야기했다.

〈라이온 킹〉이 아이맥스로 재개봉했을 때 추가되었고, 재개봉 기념(2002년 재개봉, 2003년 VHS 및 DVD 출시)으로 2003년 9월 발매된 사운드트랙 《The Lion King: Special Edition》에도 수록되었다. 1994년 영화 작업 중 작곡한 곡은 아니고 1997년 뮤지컬 작업 중 작곡한 곡이라서 무파사 역의
제임스 얼 존스를 제외하고 자주와 심바 역은 다른 배우가 맡았다. 자주 역은
로완 앳킨슨 대신
제프 베넷이 맡았고, 심바 역은 제이슨 위버 대신 이반 소시도가 맡았다. 자주 역의 제프 베넷의 목소리는 로완 앳킨슨의 연기와 크게 차이가 느껴지지 않지만, 심바 역의 이반 소시도는 기존의 제이슨 위버에 비하면 차이가 느껴지는 편이다.
