The Idiot의 5번째 트랙으로 수록되었다. 팝이 당시 교제하던 베트남 여성 쿠엘란 응우옌(Kuelan Nguyen)에게 영감을 받아 작곡한 곡이다. 원제는 Vietnamese Girl이었지만 운율을 위해 현재의 제목으로 수정되었다.

빌보드 핫 100에서 10위까지 오르는 등 상업적으로 선전했다.
1983년 빌보드 핫 100 연말 차트에서 62위에 올랐다.
