글로벌 레이블 '에픽 레코드(Epic Records)'와 계약 체결 이후 지난 6월 처음으로 발매 했던 싱글 [WHO DO U LOVE?]에 이어 새롭게 발매한 싱글. "LOVE U"는 세련되고 부드러운 멜로디의 곡으로, 멤버들의 하모니가 특히 두드러지는 로맨틱한 트랙이다. 함께 공개된 "WHO DO U LOVE?"의 리믹스 트랙은 블랙 아이드 피스(Black Eyed Peas)의 멤버이자 세계 최정상 프로듀서 윌.아이.엠(will.i.am)이 담당 했다.
1.2. 상세설명[편집]
- 에픽 레코드와 계약한 이후 미국에서 발매한 몬스타엑스의 두 번째 싱글이다.
- 밝고 가벼운 느낌이라 편하게 듣기 좋지만, 가사를 잘 보면 그 수위가 상당히 높다.
본격 검열삭제송 - 미국 발매곡마다 개인 파트가 거의 없던 아이엠이 본격적으로 노래 파트를 맡은 곡이다.
- 랩 없이 모든 멤버가 노래를 불렀다.
