1. 개요[편집]

송(宋)나라의 제11대 군주. 송애공의 아들. 송무공의 아버지. 이 사람 대에 송나라의 여러 귀족들이 갈라져 나왔다. 송애공이 금방 죽어 그 뒤를 이었다고 한다.


2. 생애[편집]

송대공은 정고보의 보좌를 받아 나라를 다스렸다. 戴는 시법에 의하면 백성들을 자식과 같이 사랑하고, 만백성을 깊이 포용한다는 시호와 어울리는 명군이었다.[1]


2.1. 송대공의 개혁[편집]

그 이유는 다음 내린 개혁 조치로 알 수 있다.
  1. 세금을 1/10에서 1/20으로 경감한다.
  2. 술을 빚지 않는다. 남은 술은 외국 빈객 대접용으로 쓴다.[2]
  3. 나라에서 외국 빈객을 청한 일 외에 연회를 사치스럽게 하지 않는다.
  4. 왕실의 음식을 줄인다.

송대공은 백성들을 재해에서 구하기 위해 구제 사업을 실시했다. 이러한 일련의 개혁 조치와 선정으로 인해 송나라는 춘추시대의 강국으로 성장할 수 있었다.[3]


3. 최후[편집]

송대공 34년(기원전 766년) 송대공이 죽어 주평왕이 대라는 시호를 내렸다. 그 뒤는 아들인 자사공이 이으니 그가 바로 송 무공이다.


4. 갈라져 나온 귀족 목록[편집]

그에게서 이 성씨들이 갈라져 나왔다.

대(戴), 송(宋), 무(武), 선(宣), 목(穆), 소(蕭), 악(樂), 석(石), 화(華), 황(皇), 황보(皇甫), 동향(東鄕), 환(桓), 상(向), 종(鍾), 종(宗), 묵(墨) 등 여러 성씨가 갈라져 나왔다고 한다.

이 중에서 송(宋)씨는 송나라 공족들이 일반적으로 사용하는 씨고, 대, 화, 황, 황보, 악씨를 제외한 나머지는 대공의 직계 후손인 무공의 계통에서 갈려나온 씨다. 화, 황(황보), 악씨는 대공의 다른 아들들의 후손들이 계통별로 사용한 씨고, 이들은 (무공의 후손이 아닌) 대공의 후손이라 하여 공통적으로 대씨를 사용했다.
[1] 송 국군의 계보를 보면 알겠지만 미자계/미중연 이후 국군들의 시호가 대부분 악시거나 격이 떨어지는 시호이다. 11대 국군인 대공에 이전에 그나마 나은 축에 들어가는 게 9대 혜공 정도 뿐이었다. 심지어 혜(惠) 시호도 상황에 따라 선시/악시가 갈리는 걸 생각해보면...이를 근거로 주나라가 과거 상나라 반란 이후 지속적으로 송나라를 견제해왔다고 주장하는 학자도 있다.[2] 술을 빚으면, 곡식이 엄청나게 소모되기 때문에 전근대 시대의 군주들이 금주령을 내린 것이다.[3] 물론 송 대공이 쌓아놓은 국력을 송양공이 초나라에게 대차게 발림으로써 상당 부분 날려먹었다.
