== 소개 ==
兵學通. [[조선]]의 제22대 왕 [[정조(조선)|정조]]의 명으로 1776년, 1785년, 1790년 세 차례에 걸쳐 만들어진 조선의 종합 군사 훈련 교범. 현재 [[서울대학교 규장각]], 한국학중앙연구원 [[장서각]], [[국립중앙도서관]] 등에 소장되어 있다.

== 내용 ==
임금의 명으로 만들어졌다고 하여 어정병학통(御定兵學通)이라고도 부른다.

1776년에 형조판서 겸 지훈련원사(知訓鍊院事)인 장지항(張志恒, 1721 ~ 1778)이 조선 정조의 명을 받아 처음 편찬한 한국의 고유 병서이다. 훈련도감, 어영청, 금위영, 수어청, 총융청 등 조선 시대 [[오군영]]에서 150 ~ 200여 년간 개발해 온 야외 훈련 진법들을 총망라하여 제작한 것이다.

내용은 크게 장조(場操) 20항목, 별진호령(別陣號令) 29항목, 분련(分練) 11항목, 야조(夜操) 11항목, 성조(城操) 22항목, 수조(水操) 20항목으로 이루어져 있다.

[[속병장도설]], [[병학지남]], [[이진총방]], 연병실기, [[융원필비]], [[악기도설]] 등의 다른 병서들과 함께 한국의 고전 진법 체계를 연구하는 데 중요하게 사용된다.
